Approximate GPS / network location (when you initiate a check-in or site visit)

The information collected is used solely for:

Authenticating your identity and maintaining your session

RATs requests the following device permissions. Each permission is used only for the stated purpose and is not accessed in the background unless explicitly stated.

      You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings → Apps → RATs →
      Permissions. Revoking a permission may limit or disable certain features.
    

🔗6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

Within the organisation: Authorised supervisors, area managers, and administrators of the app owner's organisation can view activity reports, attendance records, and uploaded media relevant to their jurisdiction.
Service providers: DSD Systems Pvt. Ltd. (developer) hosts and maintains the back-end infrastructure. They access data only to perform technical services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

🔌7. Third-Party Services

RATs may integrate with the following third-party services:

Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): Used to deliver push notifications. Google's Privacy Policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Services: Required on Android devices. Google's terms apply.

No analytics SDK (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook SDK) is embedded in the application. No advertising network is integrated.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required to deliver the services described in this policy. Operational records (check-ins, activity reports, uploaded media) are retained for the duration of the relevant project or engagement, and for a reasonable period thereafter for audit and reporting purposes.

Upon account deletion or project closure, personal data is either anonymised or securely deleted in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.2+
Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are hashed using secure algorithms
Access to the back-end is restricted to authenticated and authorised personnel only
Media uploads are stored on secured servers with access controls
The application does not cache sensitive credentials on the device

While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We encourage users to keep their login credentials confidential and to log out when their session is complete.

RATs is designed for use by adults (18 years and older) in a professional business context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
